Your first link is a review that includes data and prominently features the now retracted study that included plagiarized data.

Your second link says that only 43% of studies showed statistical significance, but then says 92% of studies showed positive effect. That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, there are a whole host of other issues with that meta analysis.

The third link is behind a paywall, which, based on the quality of your other links I'm not willing to pay, but what I've read about the numbers in Mexico, there is a lot of implied causation. Oh, and have you looked a Mexico's numbers since that article was posted? Did Ivermectin just forget to work in July and August?

And your final link seems to refer back to your first linking and referring to an article in that same journal, except if you click the hyperlink it goes to a "page not found," on that journal's website (rather than the external website hosting the article from the same journal and time period, presumably because the journal was smart enough to retract it from their website.

Seriously, I hope good evidence emerges that ivermectin is effective in the treatment of COVID. I really do, because any tool I have at my disposal is helpful. But there actually is a reason it isn't recommended, why the AMA just came out with a statement against prescribing or using it for COVID, why the NIH, CDA, WHO, etc all recommend against. Why even the manufacturer of the drug, who stands to profit most from it, says there isn't adequate evidence to support its use for COVID.

Just look at the Cochrane Review that came out recently. Much better quality of evidence went into that meta analysis which just doesn't support it at this time. Studies are in process. Hopefully they show benefit. But we've been through this before with hydroxychloroquine, with some terribly designed/run studies showing benefit and a bunch of people doubling down on a medication that didn't work and was causing actual issues in the ICU. So maybe give the medical community some time to figure it out before buying some med for off label use.

And to the OP, I wish your grandmother the best. You can look into how Regeneron is being handled in her area. Based on her age she qualifies, can be given as a single subcutaneous injection, and there is at least some better quality evidence suggesting benefit (although there are a few issues with that data as well that I won't get into here, it's probably the best we have now for mild illness not requiring oxygen/hospitalization).
