Not so sure. I have heard that they are backing off on some..


..things that most Americans favor, apparently:

- negotiating Medicare drug costs is losing favor within the Dem party

- read in the NYTimes this AM that tax increases on the wealthy are not going to be nearly what most want (I personally think the individual rate is nothing more than a smoke screen, I'd like to see reform with tax breaks...that is where the money is lost, not in whether it is 36 or 39 %...but neither of the party leaders want to bite the hand taht feeds them)
