The Pfizer vaccine is significantly more effective than the flu vaccine

in a typical year. Pfizer is 90%+ effective after 1 month. The flu vaccine is typically 40% effective. At 5 months the Pfizer vaccine was still nearly 50% effective against infection. So still more effective than the flu vaccine, but at 5 months, I'd bet the flu vaccine is not effective at all.

We were led to believe the Pfizer and moderna vaccines were 90% effective at preventing infection an 90%+ infection at preventing severe infection. And they both are. Yes there's waning immunity requiring a booster (that's never happened before in the history of vaccines), but that's an easily solved problem. So what's your point... because a highly effective vaccine requires a booster to remain highly effective, we shouldn't vaccinate?
