NE corridor is the one place where that works well.
But once you get outside high urban areas all the solutions like EVs, bike lanes, bus routes largely don't work. Every time I come to Cville there seems to be more and more building and traffic in the Pantops and 29 North areas. With the big push towards high density housing, getting around town will only become more problematic. Many in the City actually encourage gridlock as a way to reduce private vehicle use while encouraging public transportation.
