I think this is another complicating, stupid proposal. I think dems are doing a horrible job of staying on point with this entire bill. The idea is to encourage transition of the US personal auto fleet to electric. Union shops vs non-union shops has nothing to do with that goal. So why are we conflating those two things? If climate change is the greatest problem man has ever faced, shouldn’t we be laser focused on that?
People working in non-union factories are “the working man/woman” just as much as those working in union shops.
