"We've been spoiled by the last 8 years. Most programs have down years. Duke didn't make the tournament last year and if you go back to the mid 90s, they went 13-18 and 2-14 in the ACC, 3 years removed from their back-to-back national titles (sadly, we may look very similar this year... also 3 years removed from our national championship). UNC went 8-20 and 4-12 in the ACC in 2001/2002. In the preceding 5 seasons, they made the final four 3 times. "

The talent is just not there. We probably need to change some things up with our offensive schemes, but when you have 3 guards that can't shoot and a 6'6" big man, you're going to be limited.

Fortunately help is on the way with next year's class. But I do worry about the overall impact of the transfer portal on Bennett's system.
