Walensky's comment was that over 75% of vaccinated people who died in one study had 4+ pre-existing health conditions that put them at higher risk of severe COVID outcomes if they got infected.  Things like age (>65), obesity, diabetes, etc.

Your link shows the causes of death on death certificates as determined by doctors.  #1 on the list (after COVID itself) is "influenza and pneumonia" at 401,062 out of 819,575 total COVID deaths.  Half of people who died of COVID did NOT have influenza or pneumonia before catching COVID - it was NOT a pre-existing condition like Walensky was describing when she said that 28 of the vaccinated people in the CDC study who died had 4+ pre-existing health conditions that put them at higher COVID risk.

Cardiac arrest is on the list in your link at 97,222 of COVID deaths.  12% of COVID deaths are not from people who caught COVID *after* their heart stopped beating, which would be needed to make cardiac arrest a pre-existing health condition leading to a COVID death in the same way Walkensky was describing the 4+ pre-existing conditions of vaccinated people who died of COVID.

And we know that age (>65) is the #1 pre-existing condition/risk factor for severe COVID outcome, yet you'll notice that "Age" is *nowhere* on the list in your link, because that's not what that list represents.

If someone dies of a gunshot wound, their death certificate might list Intra-thoracic hemorrhage, Perforating wounds of heart and left lung, and Gunshot wound of posterior thorax as causes of death.  That doesn't mean that the intra-thoracic hemorrhage was a pre-existing condition they had before the gunshot wound - it was a cause of death resulting from the gunshot wound - all of which are listed on the death certificate.
