to Stop the Steal.
In addition to the 1 (one) time he said the word "peacefully," he said a form of the word "fight" 20 (twenty) times. He also said all the words excerpted below.
And since the mob went on to violently attack the Capitol, hunt for Mike Pence while chanting that they wanted to hang him, etc., it's pretty clear the audience listened to and followed the 20 times he said "fight" and the following words more than they paid attention to the one time he said the word "peacefully." I don't know enough about the law to say he should/could be legally charged, but I am tired of this gaslighting that his speech was totally benign and he just told the crowd to be peaceful.
Excerpts:
"All of us here today do not want to see our election victory stolen by emboldened radical-left Democrats, which is what they’re doing… We will never give up, we will never concede. It doesn’t happen. You don’t concede when there’s theft involved… We will not take it anymore and that’s what this is all about… We will stop the steal."
"We will not let them silence your voices. We’re not going to let it happen, I’m not going to let it happen. [Audience chants: “Fight for Trump.”] Thank you."
"And Rudy, you did a great job. He’s got guts. You know what? He’s got guts, unlike a lot of people in the Republican Party. He’s got guts. He fights, he fights."
"We want to go back and we want to get this right because we’re going to have somebody in there that should not be in there and our country will be destroyed and we’re not going to stand for that… There’s so many weak Republicans… They’re weak Republicans, they’re pathetic Republicans and that’s what happens… But just remember this: You’re stronger, you’re smarter, you’ve got more going than anybody."
"And after this, we’re going to walk down, and I’ll be there with you, we’re going to walk down, we’re going to walk down. Anyone you want, but I think right here, we’re going to walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them. Because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong. We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing."
"Today is not the end, it’s just the beginning… We must stop the steal..."
"And we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore. Our exciting adventures and boldest endeavors have not yet begun. My fellow Americans, for our movement, for our children, and for our beloved country."
"So we’re going to, we’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I love Pennsylvania Avenue. And we’re going to the Capitol, and… we’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones because the strong ones don’t need any of our help. We’re going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country. So let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue."
