Get the damn vaccine.


In-laws lost a neighbor to COVID yesterday. He was 76 and unvaxxed. Post positive test but before hospitalization he’d come outside, unmasked, and talk to neighbors passing by. Obviously didn’t take COVID seriously.

His son was in town to watch after the house while the neighbor was in the hospital. Last time my MIL saw the son he said they thought the neighbor was turning a corner. He also shared that the neighbor was unvaxxed and that the family would intervene and press him to get it once he recovered.

He never got the chance.
