I somewhat know my local delegate, Tony Wilt. I'll guarantee you he never

read three lines of Tocqueville in his entire life, nor would have have the least clue, in fact, who Tocqueville was.

But if they're gonna teach Tocqueville, one can only hope that they'll spend some time explaining that Tocqueville never wrote the the Fever Swamps quote him constantly on when they're not slutting themselves to re-elect the worst fiscal President ever. Namely....

“A democracy … can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy.”
