...it was due almost exclusively to Dem govs and mayors putting their boot on the neck of their local economies to sabotage Trump's strongest asset during 2020 heading into the election. That's it -- the downturn was government-created and had almost nothing to do with Trump other than him stupidly opening the door for it with his initial 15-days-to-stop-the-spread nonsense.

As these state/local Dems have relented following Biden's inauguration, the economy has naturally bounced back, only just recently reaching the 2019 levels achieved by Trump. Biden has had literally nothing to do with it.

As for deficit spending, yes, that is atrocious, and Trump bears some of the blame, but it is both 1) completely bipartisan with the entire DC Uniparty voting for it and 2) related to the catastrophically idiotic shutdowns in 2020. This entire fiasco is the poster child for a government clumsily trying to "rescue" us from a problem that the government created in the first place.
