That "work" excuse is bullshit for most people, though, as polls are typically open for 12-14 per day -- far longer than a typical workday. In addition, most employers don't bat an eye at people missing a little work to go vote, if necessary. Regardless, the problem is easily solved for without universal vote-by-mail, which is firing a howitzer at an anthill.

I've articulated before how fraud could occur with universal vote-by-mail, and you can also find explanations online. The practice is banned almost everywhere around the globe precisely because it is 1) ripe for abuse and 2) not trusted.

You still haven't answered the question of why it's wrong to change election laws. You noted that the changes are based on "lies", which is false, but, regardless, even if they are based on "lies", so what? What is wrong with changing the laws to promote in-person voting with ID and reducing to an absolute minimum other forms of less secure and less trusted voting?
