Yes. It’s still terrible policy with zero margin for error, regardless of

the “well how about THIS sick motherfucker?” anecdotes you can come up with. Especially when you consider all the mistakes (or misconduct) that can occur in investigations, the number of people who were on death row or actually executed and later exonerated, etc.

Life in prison without the possibility of parole is a pretty good compromise. For this guy, I say maybe even make sure he’s in a “diverse” cell block where TomKazanski’s Uncle Jack can’t protect him too.
