For better or worse, the GOP worked for 40 years to get this combination of justices onto the court. They broke a lot of institutional norms along the way to do it (and Dems did to a lesser extent to try and stop them). But they didn't propose expanding the court or term limits on justices that would have accelerated the process. The way to fix it is to win elections over and over again and replace judges at all levels. Dobbs gives them a chance to portray the GOP as extreme, but they need to start flipping seats in purple states and reintroduce themselves to rural voters to have a shot.
