Key phrases-"voters who had likely switched affiliations". Likely? Shouldn't they know?
"statistical modeling to determine party affiliation"-so they're kind of guessing as to party affiliation?
"switchers include both those who have formally changed their registration and those who L2 estimates have shifted toward the GOP." Estimates? So they're definitely guessing.
