Oklahoma's law has the same language ("medical emergency")
When I was reading some of the actual laws last month, I noticed a bunch of them had the same/similar language, so there are probably others as well, but Oklahoma is one I noted specifically.
The specific language of these laws is a major problem. We (and articles/TV news stories) talk in vague generalities about exceptions for "death or harm to the pregnant woman," but of course, to be enforceable, the laws are not that generic.
In many of them, for example, it's not a vague "harm to the mother," but "to prevent the serious, permanent impairment of a life-sustaining organ of a pregnant woman." So a woman could be seriously, permanently harmed for the rest of her life, but if it's not directly to a life-sustaining organ, she can't get the abortion.
Now that the specific ways the laws are written are becoming a reality, I think people are in for a big wake-up call.
