It’s like, they can keep you on hold longer than you can take a timeout on
the rest of your life, to talk to somebody. I’m now 15 months into waiting for my dad’s refund on his last tax return—not the estate return but his individual 1040 from the partial year of his death—and we solved one problem after about 3 months ( his domicile was Virginia, the Estate’s mailing address s in Colorado, there were conflicting instructions on where to file so I mailed an original signed return to one location and a copy to the other, turned out the one I sent the copy to was the one that should e gotten the original), but nothing since then.
Every once in a while when I have a couple hours with nothing to do I stay on hold with them until I give up.
