Does a heart beat in the woods if all you have is a stethoscope?

And with improving technology, you have to assume the moment these sounds can be heard will only get shorter.

One of the many reasons I think these heart beat bills are far too overreaching. 6 wks (from last period) is already way too short for a couple to make an informed decision and get the procedure done. And this "heartbeat" standard sets it up to be an even shorter period.
