Would Ukraine sending its troops into Russia be a gift to Putin?


“They’ve invaded the Motherland! We must destroy Ukraine!” Would that rally the Russian people to his cause, or would Russian civilians being in the line of fire do the opposite? Tricky question. IMHO, lobbing missiles inside Russia at military targets certainly seems reasonable as a means of resisting an unprovoked invasion, but would the inevitable collateral civilian damage help or hurt Putin? Glad I’m not making these calls.
