Nah. It will end when congressmen decide to throw out presidential
election results they don't like and substitute the electors with an alternate slate of electors chosen by the state legislature, but only in states with a friendly party in control of the state legislature. You know, like what happened in 2020, but fortunately 2/3 of a GOP minority in congress wasn't enough to succeed. But if 90-95% of a GOP majority were to do exactly what 2/3 of the GOP did in 2020, we will have effectively ended our system of democracy. A GOP majority in the house is a virtual certainty. And I don't think it's a huge leap to assume that the 2/3 of GOP votes we saw in 2020 could become 90%+ of GOP votes in 2024... particularly as any election truthers remaining in the GOP are voted out by Trump loyalists.
But hey, I guess if that happens, you guys will consider it "wholly appropriate". Anything to stay in power.
