idea what they're doing. I guess that their fancy universities haven't taught them that we don't negotiate with terrorists. In fact, we have generally preferred to destroy terrorist operations - it is in our best interest and the best interest of just about everyone else in the world.

But I'm guessing very few of these idiots are sitting back and thinking about why the situation Gaza is what it is today, or wondering if the first priority should be getting back to square 1 (may be hard now, but maybe square minus 1); which would mean having all hostages and bodies returned to Israel.

Yeah yeah. The response feels like it could be a little disproportionate at this point and it doesn't sound like the Israelis have taken very many precautions to protect civilian lives. But calling for any action while there are still hostages kinda vindicates the Hamas approach - which the world simply can't accept. Perhaps these kids should start by denouncing Hamas and calling for a return of hostages as a starting point. But these students are kinda idiots, like a lot of others their age. And I'm sure there are a number of non-student outsiders stirring the pot.

Best way for these things to go away is to not give them the attention they desire. But we just can't seem to help ourselves. Glad the border issues are resolved though. Prices back to normal. Russia no longer posing a threat. Normal and healthy trade relations with China. Climate in tip-top shape, etc.
