Maybe there’s a general shift in favor of Islam, not that


The two religions should be in opposition. Outside of New York, I don’t recall seeing yarmulkes out and about in the old days, but maybe I was just oblivious. However, I’ve definitely noticed an increase in Islamic women with head coverings over the last few decades. I’m completely non religious, but I was happy to see them comfortable doing so. Sad if Jewish people are feeling less secure.
