Don't be so sure there are 3 Republican "No" votes in the Senate.
The big lie here is that the $8B over 5 years will cover the cost of the high risk pools in the states that opt out of the pre-existing condition provision. The real cost is going to be more like $200B. But it's complicated enough to understand that it gives cover to those who want to vote yes.
I think it's 60-40 that this is going to happen. bad for the country, good for the Dems in 2020 by when the disastrous results--mostly to Trump voters in red states, who are fixing to get royally screwed-- will be clear.
