But isn't there a difference between arguing about the results

of a policy debate (healthcare, Gorsuch, climate change) and actions such as Kathy Griffin "executing" Trump?

I just want to clarify that saying X amount of people will die if the ACA is repealed is not inciting violence under any interpretation. Making policy projections (albeit with a good faith basis) should not be discouraged because it is "inciting violence". That is the democratic process.

If the Democrats proposed a law that said "all expecting mothers should smoke a pack a day", it is absolutely fair game for Republicans to claim that this will kill people. If Republicans proposed a law saying no more seat belts will be allowed, Democrats should be able to point out the likely increase in highway deaths. Do you disagree with this?

Now to be partisan, one final point. Today was undoubtedly a tragedy, but X additional people* dying a year due to preventable deaths based on the ACA repeal is just a statistic.

*It seems the studies (see attached link) put the number at over 20,000 a year. But even if you don't believe the studies, I don't see how the logic supports any conclusion EXCEPT that lack of insurance causes at least some people not to get needed medical care which causes preventable death.
