Your questions would normally be very reasonable. Nothing


wrong or unusual with forming LLC's to own specific assets.
However, I think his main point was the change in the level of usage of LLC's from pre campaign years, and it does invite suspicion given that he has NOT divested himself of any business interests, and given his insistence that he will make money while being president (which is IMO is at least insulting to the people of the nation he is supposed to be 100% focused on as president, and possibly contrary to law) and given the increasing number of people concerned with possible violation of the Emoluments clause of the Consitituion. .
