Somebody's lying and this doesn't pass the smell test (link)

Aside from the fact that Jeh Johnson and Debbie Hillaryman Schultz are in direct contradiction with each other, how could JJ even admit under oath something so irresponsible as having DHS and the FBI acceding to the DNC's wishes not to assist the DNC with investigating Russia hacking the DNC. Clearly, Russia hacking the DNC had grave national security implications. Both DHS and FBI had a responsibility to investigate regardless of the DNC's wishes. Sounds to me like the DNC didnt't want DHS or the FBI snooping around because of what else they might find, and the political leaders of DHS and FBI were afraid of the same thing.
