One thing is for sure -- assuming the Orange Ass even makes it four years, it is going to be a lot more difficult for him to run defending his legacy and promising to continue carrying the torch than it was for him to run on some kind of gimmick campaign where he is going to shake things up and vaguely "MAGA" by building Mexico walls and not being a "traditional politician." All of those stupid, hollow platitudes that resonated with halfway decent people who were just fed up with Washington and feeling defeated won't fool them again I don't think.

So what he will have are the ugly people who like his ugliness. There are more of them than I think most of us imagined, but nowhere near enough to win a bid for re-election unless the Dems really do something stupid and nominate someone even more unlikeable (which I wouldn't put past them).
