I think the laws in place provide the adequate leeway to deal with such

things. Last weekend the University, city, state and nation were sleeping on the nature of what was happening. Not everyone was. There was plenty of legal leeway to alter the trajectory of last weekend imo, with strong leadership.

That said, what happened happened, and hopefully other cities, states, Universities, police learned where we failed.
