I'll say this ... if you're going to wiretap the chairman of a political

campaign -- particularly of the opposite party -- you better make every imaginable accommodation to make sure that nobody political EVER gets involved and nobody at DOJ gets involved at all unless and until the FBI determines an indictment is likely--at which point the .

Given the way the Obama administration handled the Clinton "matter," I doubt this was done, which is a shame. I've been as critical of Trump as anyone on this board, but that's a really bad precedent for the sake of the country and our republic.
