Yet another shooter with a history of domestic violence. How does his violent history not show up on his background check when he purchased his gun?

If you beat your wife and kid, you lose the ability to buy guns. Seems like a reasonable public safety law. Seems like we can improve laws around both background checks and who should be able to own a gun (and we shouldn't forget about bump stocks).

There's a lot we can do that still keeps guns in the hands of good guys with guns while at the same time trying to fix our broken system.
