So how did the pilot control the trails so preciesly? The point is that


they can not control the trails!! He didn't just fly this pattern and then turn on and off his engines to create the effect did he? I know what contrails are and I know that there is no way to control when and where they occur. BTW skywriting looks exactly like conrtrails. Help me out here because I can't find any examples of skywriting created by contrail.
"Skywriting is done by one plane that can generally write up to six characters, with a skilled pilot at times maneuvering upside down as they decide when smoke is needed for the letters. Five to seven planes are needed for longer messages (up to thirty characters) so that the entire message is visible at once."
