Trump playing PR chess while everyone else is playing PR checkers

These are the issues that will win him re-election. Lavar Ball is not a popular man -- particularly with Trump's base. This is just like the NFL BS.

So while the far left cries racism (it's not it's simply about being critical of somebody most people dislike), he's succesfully avoiding the fact that his admin is doing nothing because he's keeping people distracted with issues like this, and Trump is actually taking positions that are majority positions in these instances! ETA: given that most people already don't like Lavar, they also see the left crying racism, realize it is not racism, and then think the left has further gone off the deep end hollowing out the charge of racism for the future.

The left has been doing this for years with issues like abortion avoiding discussing actual issues then lobbing an abortion bomb across the debate stage (when no abortion legislation is being considered) just to try and make more women agree with them on SOMETHING. Trump is just better at it
