Then no. The international community was forced to deal with them and I think the use of the navy to patrol those waters was appropriate. That’s part of what the navy does. I don’t see that as remotely comparable to using the coast guard to patrol South American waters to arrest people for transporting drugs between other countries that may or may not eventually make their way to the US. Or Europe. Or somewhere else.
