IMO, politics is a game. Way more about winning and losing than policy

Sure there are believers and wonks on both sides. But most of the politicians themselves serve a constituent of one above most else. Then it’s often party above people. I won’t be upset if DJT is out on his ass. He’s a bore. But this process didn’t start out as some noble cause to save the Union. Just one cynic’s view.
