Damn dude, this also exemplifies the Waxian dig at Tuck.

You're yelling at a different set of strawmen than he did (he is yammering about "largesse" while you're yammering about "fair shares" (nevermind that not all business owners have paid even more than a modest share of taxes and things like capital gains are taxed at lower rates than a school teacher's wages, but never mind) and exploiting labor (way more WTF?-worthy than anything Tuck said btw,so congratulations)) but you both missed the point entirely.

It was an inartfully phrased statement, but the concept is simple: we are successful as a country in no small part because shared purpose and pooled resources have provided a first world infrastructure and an environment where one can start a business and have it succeed. And we have a government that supports private enterprise. That is a big reason why one can start a business in the US and make a living but one has a much harder time in, say, Honduras, Somalia, or Russia. But the cost of admission is that we need to invest in that infrastructure and not treat things like paying taxes as "stealing" or "robbery" or whatever other nonsense 5150 is usually spewing on any given day. This was in response to Romney's proposal to not just keep the Bush tax cuts, but cut them more at the expense of public infrastructure. It has nothing to do with "largesse" being the reason someone succeeded or how much a business owner's grandfather or various shareholders have paid in taxes in the past, and certainly not exploitation of labor.

Not complicated stuff, and only controversial in the word-parsing internet troll minds of right wing nut jobs. The Fact Check article Tuck linked that he thought somehow supported his position actually explained it pretty well.
