Sorry but the sanctity of elections argument is a bit hard to stomach......

right now.

As stated Trump and his followers were all to eager to call the elections "rigged" months before election day. We know that the GOP has religiously worked to gerrymander so as to make portions of states not representative of the population, Virginia being a good example of that. They have repeatedly worked at the state level to disenfranchise voters and purge voter rolls. Trump has empaneled a commission to disenfranchise those that the states haven't already.
Not to be lost in the discussion of the sanctity of elections is of course, at first ignoring and now resisting and maybe obstructing attempts to determine how badly the sanctity of our last election was damaged, by Russia no less.

Election sanctity is of importance only if everyone has a respect for it. I would offer that is not the case and we should quit pretending that it is.

As for the anti-Trump movement, I would only remind you that it is not just Democrats, but those unaffiliated, and also a considerable portion of Republicans. His current approval is about 33% after all.

As I see it, the main reason he isn't "our" president is that he really isn't "a" president at all as he continually brings dishonor to the office and the nation, with absolutely no respect for or knowledge of our guiding principles, but that is a whole nother discussion.
