Oversaturation
I remember playing in the late 90s with my dad’s friends on a website we created. Had an in-person draft. I had to manually calculate the points and enter them on the site. That was fun.
By the mid-2000s everyone was playing, and had a dozen teams too. Boring. I thought daily fantasy could turn it all around, but they really screwed up by allowing individuals to play the system instead of playing how it was intended to be played. Of course they allowed it because all those entries were bringing in revenue, but they screwed themselves out of billions along the way. Idiots.
