Christmas shopping season is shorter this year too. Hoo do I blame if I deliver presents on the 27th? If they don't extend the deadline when I don't file taxes by Apr 15th is that also an effort to try and keep people that want to file and pay their taxes from doing so?

BTW, if I'm not mistaken, A) you only have to sign up by the 15th (which is basically done for you if you've been on the exchange before), you don't even have to pick a plan and schedule payment. You have until mid Feb or so to do that if your current plan still exists, or you're willing to go without coverage until then. And B) you can still sign up after the 15th, it just means your new policy might not start Jan 1, and you don't want to go too long (90 days maybe) or you get hit for not having continuing coverage.

So still plenty of opportunity for those that want coverage to get it, even if they don't click through a few simple questions by the 15th. But I'm guessing hooever told you guys to be "outraged" about this dastardly effort by the GOP to sabotage OCare didn't bother pointing out any of those facts.
