We've become spoiled. I remember being ecstatic refinancing down to 6 1/2%.


Thank goodness I wasn't in the home ownership market back in the late 70's and 80's!

Boca is spot on IMO that interest rates would have a much bigger impact, and that this tax plan will be a blip on the radar at best. But I wonder how much that would impact existing home sales. Certainly it impacts the own vs. rent math, but people still have to live somewhere. More likely to just shift down the % of those that own homes vs. rent would be my guess.
