A spontaneous cease fire on the first Christmas of the war, where Germans and Brits climbed out of their trenches and celebrated Christmas for a day instead of killing each other. Wonder how many of the celebrants survived the war. I wonder if any actually found each other after the war, as some apparently pledged to do.
