Unless you're accepting Bannon's, or hooever's line about the media being "opposition party". Now if Tom Perez, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer ask such absurd questions, that's one thing, but this is supposedly objective journalists that are just making a mockery of themselves. I don't recall too many of those "birther" questions coming from legitimate media types other than possibly a few in the Fox crowd, and even there it was mostly idiot partisan hack pundits like Hannity.

And surely you don't think that if POTUS Cruz had been elected, those "birther" questions wouldn't have been asked if that's what it took for the resist media to de-legitimize his election.
