I'm not sure the gist of your question; that is whether you're concerned
about the company's survival or about the corporate culture that has led to this point? Assuming it is the company I'm thinking about, then I think you should ask yourself if you perform your job ethically and to the best of your ability? If so, but you have concerns about company ethics, then you should be looking, IMO.
That aside, there's the question of company survival. I've worked in a start-up before so frankly that kind of risk never really bothered me much. But I also kept enough irons in the fire with external contacts to try to mitigate the failure potential. We did eventually fail to get our product to market, but I was fortunate to be able to jump before that happened. I guess my advice would be to exercise your professional networks and be open to moving or even changing industries if necessary. You're the only one who can decide when the time is right to leave.
