The other day when you whined that I accused you of that (which of course I didn't). All I did was give you another stupid political soundbite. Which I guess I don't feel that bad about, because you just make yourself look like a clown when you use it.

I never accused you personally of anything. I've suggested that it makes no sense at all to exclude ease of gun access from a discussion about too much gun violence. That's not political, it's Logic 101. When people refuse to allow gun control into the discussion, they are subordinating the welfare of victims of gun violence to their politics making unfettered gun access sacrosanct. And too many of thos victims are kids.

You are the king of the sweeping political generalization, always reducing everything to a zero sum, us against them dynamic, with endless use of phrases like "you guys" and "your ilk", as though you can reduce everyone to two distinct groups. So if you read my observations as applying to you personally, that's not my problem. Excessive use of stereotypes is your problem, and this business about wanting kids to die is between you and your own conscience.

To say that someone needs to favor photo ids in order to favor cyber security is bullshit. Many see that as a way to exclude citizens without drivers licenses. Cyber security in every electronic application in our lives is a proven concern. Voter fraud by illegals is not. It is a red herring thrown out by opponents of illegal immigration who seem to feel they have to invent stuff, like they are all rapists and murderers and for good measure vote illegally, rather than just relying on it being illegal. It's just demagoguery to exaggerate the threat and stoke fear.

So no, I don't favor these other things in the same way I do better cyber security, and I don't struggle with my conscience the way you apparently do.
