So, the indictments clearly state that the Russian efforts were

generally designed to help Trump and the Bern, and to hurt Hill and GOP primary opponents Rubio and Cruz. What stands out? Trump and the Bern were the populist candidates; the "tear it all down" guys. That's what seems to be their goal, whether supporting Brexit, Le Pen, Trump, or the Bern.

But Trump only seems able to see it through the prism of his own perceived interests, which only seems to be to get everyone to think he won all by himself! See mommy, it wasn't the Russians! That's all you seemed to hear out of Trump's Twitter feed this weekend. "I'm vindicated"! "I won all by my lonesome"! I don't think there was one expression of concern for the detailed ways the indictments lay out that a foreign power with motive to disrupt our elections, and our whole society, is using new tech tools in pursuit of their goals.

Just makes me wonder how all these Trumpies would be reacting if the Bern had won, and a similar investigation were ongoing, and the Bern were not showing one iota of concern for the security and sanctity of our elections. I think we'd be seeing a lot of references to "Comrade Bern", to his goal of reintroducing Soviet style socialism, but this time in the US, stuff like that.

But now, all you do is distract in the face of actual evidence - detailed evidence - in multiple indictments. No interest whatsoever in getting to the truth - just in protecting your guy.

I think you'd be a little less supportive of the WH if its occupant were the Bern in these circumstances, no?
