I did briefly. Odd that link is slightly different than the one linked in

the article I posted (which said 94 vs 97%) but I'm not sure that changes anything wrt universal background checks, other than also addressing other issues like gun bans, etc. And doesn't answer my question:

Would you support a Universal background check for all gun sales? If not, why not? I'm asking because I'm curious, and I honestly can't think of a valid reason to be against it other than possibly an exaggerated (IMO) fear that the Gov't can then come get your guns once they have the database complete.

For that matter, and at the risk of going off on a slightly different tangent, I honestly can't think of a valid reason to oppose registration of all guns, or regular licensing/testing/etc. a la cars/driver's license for gun ownership. (although yes, I do realize cars and driving is not a right enumerated in the Constitution)
