Well, by losing the popular election and just narrowly winning in typically

blue states, especially MI and WI, but also PA, so that he could take the electoral college. Said a whole lot more about the candidate herself (she has her fans but man does she bring out strong negative reactions from a wide swath of people of all ages), the dem primaries and the way the "Establishment" seemed to just crush the upstart, Bernie, who had a disproportionate fanbase among young people, and the ridiculous hubris in the campaign itself, which just seemed to stomp down turnout in places like Philly, Cleveland, and Detroit.

There's a lot to analyze, but it in no way contradicts the GOP's growing issue with young women and IMO young people in general.
