Thanks I'm very familiar with what he said, and what you conveniently omit
in your desire to paint it as what you want, rather than what it was, is that it was based on the presupposition "that abortion is illegal. It's murder." (Mathews' words, not mine) So if it's illegal (and deemed murder) how can you possibly not punish a woman that does it? Would you not punish a woman for a bank robbery even though it's illegal? What kind of worthless illegality is that? The same type you want if you get your desired assault weapons ban? Did he say performers shouldn't also be punished under that presupposed scenario? Accessories?
He gave the absolute right answer given the presupposition Mathews gave him. It was a pathetic effort by Mathews trying only to help Hillary, which a real journalist would never do, to just try to set him up to say "women should be punished". Because he knew people like you did here would run with that lazy and disingenuous version to pretend it was something it was not. Hoss.
