Really, what Tuck said wasn't racist. It was an acknowledgement of how complicated it would be to deal with slavery and racism in America, 150+ years after the Civil War, with reparations. If we actually were to do that, it would make the race problem in America worse, not better. Because all that money sloshing around would certainly lead to corruption, and I bet you would see questions exactly like Tuck raised.

That's what an article like this is designed to do. Take a sensitive issue, and throw gasoline on it, and watch people with different views fumble around with political correctness as the match, and boom, the whole thing goes up in flames before you know it. Wedge successfully hammered into place.
