I harp on Democrat hypocrisy as well

But (a) they're not pulling the levers of power at the moment, (b) they don't make the moral high horse the centerpiece of their party platform, and (c) the notion of the needs of the many, etc... allows for a tremendous amount of moral flexibility that neuters a lot of hypocrisy.
