I'd be curious to see how the present the financial impact of this

Are they going to try to lump some of the costs of the rebranded stores to the stores that are being closed? They shouldn't be able to do that, but they might try to lump those as non-continuing operations costs (or however they term it) to try to make their continuing operations costs look better. That way they can shed some of the costs from the 8 re-branded stores off of current operations. Just a guess, though.
